Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device provided with an attachable and detachable muffler which reduces noise. SOLUTION: A projector device 1 is provided with a power source 12, a light source 13, etc., which are heat generation sources, and is provided with a blast fan 14 for intake and a blast fan 15 for exhaust in order to radiate the heat. A muffler 2 for intake and a muffler 3 for exhaust are detachably attached to an intake opening part 16 and an exhaust opening part 17 of the projector device 1. Sound absorbing materials 22 and 32 are provided in the inside surfaces of the muffler 2 for intake and the muffler 3 for exhaust, and blast fans 21 and 31 are provided in the mufflers. Detection parts 18 and 19 for detecting presence of mufflers 2 and 3 and a control part 11 are provided. Detection parts 18 and 19 output detection signals and send them to the control part 11. The control part 11 controls the rotation number of the blast fan so that the inside temperature of the projector device 1 may be come most suitable.
