Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a presser plate mounted on a cargo to be fixed easily and positively against the cargo when pallets having the stacked cargo are stacked up. SOLUTION: There is provided a fixing member 1 constituted by a fixing member 10 fixed at a side segment of a presser plate 2 for a cargo, and an engagement member 20 engaged with the cargo. The fixing member 10 has a supporting plate 11 contacted with a side end surface of the presser plate 2. The engagement member 20 has a sliding support segment 21 which can be slid against the supporting plate 11, a connecting segment 22 extending downward from an outer side end than the supporting plate 11, and an engagement segment 23 extending from its lower end to the same side as that of the sliding support segment 21. There is provided a spring means 25 for biasing the sliding support segment in an inserting direction. The engagement member 20 is arranged such that it can be drawn by a predetermined length from the inserting position where the connecting segment 22 approaches against the spring means 25. The engagement segment 23 can be inserted into a part of a cargo 4 and engaged while being faced upward by a returning action by the biasing force of the spring means 25.
