Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for effectively growing plants in flowable soil scarcely growing plants regardless of inexpensive apparatus. SOLUTION: This apparatus for growing plants in flowable soil such as mudflow or quicksand is equipped with a wind suppressing device for suppressing wind force by which the flowable soil is moved and a plant- protecting means for protecting seeds and seedlings of plants. The wind- suppressing means is composed of at least two columnar bodies nearly vertically standing from the flowable soil and a nearly planar body whose both ends are fixed by these columnar bodies.
