Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization method for timing signals that can solve a problem of causing a phase shift in timing signals in a process where a subscriber terminal receives signals from a plurality of base stations during the retrieval of an object base station resulting in generating a noise. SOLUTION: The subscriber terminal detects an ID to identify a base station from received data in the synchronization method for timing signals of this invention, compares the ID with an ID of the base station stored in a memory 12 and synchronizes the timing signal with a UW signal of the base station only when the subscriber terminal detects the ID of the base station and receives a control register signal.
