Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gas from staying in a pump by positively fluidizing one portion of a flowing chemical in a clearance part inside a bulkhead self- primingly and to solve thereby poor priming. SOLUTION: In this vertical magnet pump, a liquid flow passage 15 is formed ranging over from a shaft support body 14 for supporting a lower end part of a pump shaft 5 onto a lower casing 2 up to the pump shaft 5, and the one portion of the handled flowing chemical is made to flow in the clearance part 16 around the bulkhead 4 in an upper part of the pump shaft and the rotary part 7 via the flow passage 15.
