Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and inexpensively supply a brazing filler metal of an arbitrary composition and volume to the arbitrary position of a material to be joined. SOLUTION: The brazing filler metal 1 which is taken up on a roll 4 is sent to a roll 9 side by means of rollers 5, 6, 7 and 8 and is arranged on the material 2 to be joined. The material 2 to be joined is irradiated with a laser beam from a laser beam irradiation section 10 in the state of bringing the brazing filler metal 1 and a pad 12 into tight contact with each other to melt a portion of the brazing filler metal 1 and to join the same to the pad 12 by the heat energy of the laser beam, following which the brazing filler metal 1 is moved in a direction (upward) parting from the material 2 to be joined, by which the brazing filler metal 1 is partly broken and is made to remain on the pad 12.
