Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric field leaking from the face surface of a cathode-ray tube, having multifunctional film on the face surface. SOLUTION: In the cathode-ray tube with the multifunctional film applied on the face surface, sealability of leaking electromagnetic waves is improved, by embedding a conductive adminicle 1 having a flat part 2 in an upper face and acicular protrusions 3 in a lower face on a surface of the multifunctional film 4, so that it reaches a conductive film layer 7 inherent in the multifunctional film 4, and either one of Fe, Cu, Al, or Pb is used as a main material of the conductive adminicle.
