Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for bridge capable of recognizing, in the state of being installed, the peeling-off of a rubber coated part resulting from the rusting of a steel plate for fixing. SOLUTION: In this joint structure for jointing bridge beams H and H to each other or a bridge beam to an abutment through an expansion joint J for bridge formed by covering, with rubber G, a reinforced steel plate including a steel plate 1 for fixing of L-shape in cross section. Recessed part (h) are formed at upper corner parts of the bridge beams H and H opposed to each other or the bridge beam and abutment opposed to each other, the steel plate 1 portion for fixing covered with rubber is anchored to the floor surface of the recessed part (h), and a steel plate 40 for collision is disposed on the surface of the component wall of the recessed part (h) opposite to the vertical plate part 10 of the steel plate 1 for fixing. When the rubber covered part of the vertical plate part 10 on the collision steel plate 40 side is peeled off, a metallic sound is produced by the collision of the vertical plate part 10 with the collision steel plate 40 produced when a vehicle passes.
