PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a hologram transfer foil that a volume hologram can be stuck to any objective body by hot pressing and that the foil can be stuck to any adherend, to provide a hologram transfer foil which is effective to prevent forgery because even when the volume hologram is to be peeled after sticking, the hologram layer or the adherend causes breakdown in the material, and to provide a hologram transfer foil in which even when a color layer functioning as a back layer is formed, influences of the color component on the volume hologram layer can be definitely prevented. SOLUTION: The hologram transfer foil (1) has successively laminated layers of, from the upper layer to the lower layer, a base material (7), a volume hologram layer (2) laminated as peelable on the base layer (7) and having a volume hologram in a cured resin layer, a first heat seal layer (3) and a second heat seal layer (4). The foil (1) is used by sticking the second heat seal layer (4) to the adherend. The adhesion strength between the volume hologram layer (2) and the adherend is higher than the breakdown strength of the material of the volume hologram layer or the adherend.
