Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining part of an H-shaped cross section member and a steel member capable of inexpensively and effectively reinforcing a flange and a web of the H-shaped cross section member for a tensile force and a compression force from the steel member without directly welding on at least the H-shaped cross section member. SOLUTION: First reinforcing hardware 5 having an L-shaped cross section is provided along the direction in which a plate part 5b rising from the web 1a of the H- shaped cross section member 1 crosses between flanges 1b of the H-shaped cross section member 1 on the web 1a of the H-shaped cross section member 1 to join the web 1a and the first reinforcing hardware 5 mutually by bolts 7. Second reinforcing hardware 6 which is separate from the first reinforcing hardware 5 and has an L- shaped cross section is provided in such a way that it comes into contact with an inner face of the flange 1b of the H-shaped cross section member 1 with which the steel member 2 is joined on its outer face and the first reinforcing hardware 5, the flange 1b and the second reinforcing hardware 6 are mutually joined by bolts 9, and the first reinforcing hardware 5 and the second reinforcing hardware 6 are mutually joined by the bolts 9 or by welding.
