Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation capable of rapidly and deeply permeating an active ingredient targeting local action into the skin, exhibiting treating effect excellent in diseases such as epidermal skin infectious disease including contagious impetigo and acne vulgaris and scarcely causing irritation to application site by formulating pyridone carboxylic acid-based compound as the active ingredient and applying the formulation to the skin. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is obtained by formulating a pyridone carboxylic acid-based compound with a pyrrolidone derivative, a 22-9C aliphatic carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol.
