Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexed data demultiplexing device for multimedia communication, multimedia communications equipment and a multimedia communication system, with which a multiplexing protocol is automatically identified on the basis of multiplexed data received from a communication network and the multiplexed data can be demultiplexed into a plurality of encoded information source data. SOLUTION: This device is provided with data demultiplexing means (H.225.0 demultiplexing unit 15 and H.223 demultiplexing unit 17) for demultiplexing the multiplexed data into a plurality of encoded information source data by selectively using a plurality of demultiplexing protocols and a demultiplexing protocol identifying means (multiplexing protocol identifying unit 16) for identifying the demultiplexing protocol for the multiplexed data, by using one part of or all the multiplexed data when inputted multiplexed data can be demultiplexed by the data demultiplexing means.
