Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odor measurement method and its device capable of giving a measurement result close to a sensory test result with high reproducibility even in measurement of a gas high in water content and volatile component content such as halitosis. SOLUTION: When dry inert gas (nitrogen gas or the like) is supplied to an odor component collecting material without heating it after a predetermined amount of a gas sample is passed through the odor component collecting material, the gas sample is removed from the odor component collecting material and fed to an analysis part to be measured. In this way, almost all of the odor components contained in the sample are fed to the odor sensor to be measured. Although, in this process, water is also fed to the odor sensor at the same time, the water content carried by the odor component collecting material is kept constant when the gas sample amount passed through the odor component collecting material is set so that the water content included in the passed gas sample is equal to a water collecting capacity of the odor component collecting material or more. Therefore, when a measurable quantity of the odor sensor is set to be equal to the constant water content or more, the odor sensor can measure a target odor component and can easily correct influence by the water.
