Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a bearing device without damaging a raceway surface and a rolling contact surface. SOLUTION: An inner ring 17 having a second inner ring raceway 18 is fitted to a shaft 15 having a fist inner ring raceway 15. A pitch P1 of both raceways 16, 18 is made larger than a pitch p1 required for imparting a predetermined preload. In this state, balls 5, 5 are incorporated between outer ring raceways 43, 43 of inner periphery surfaces of an outer ring 19 and the first and second inner ring raceways 16, 18. The balls 5, 5 are arranged at equal gap positions in a circumferential direction. The inner ring 17 is axially deviated and a required preload is imparted making the pitch as p1 .
