PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for extracting practically the whole quantity of an engine oil or the like even if the temperature of the engine oil is high or its viscosity is high at a low temperature when the engine oil is extracted. SOLUTION: An apparatus for extracting an engine oil or the like comprises a suction pipe capable of being inserted into an insertion hole of an oil level gauge of the engine to locate its tip end on a bottom surface of an oil pan, a suction tank connected to the suction pipe via a suction hose, a vacuum hose connected to a vacuum ejector connected to an air hose of a compressor evacuating the suction tank, an air supply hose connected to the air hose of the compressor capable of supplying air to the suction pipe to stir the oil or the like in the oil pan or the tank and a switching means selectively conducting opening and closing of the air supply hose and opening and closing of the vacuum hose.
