Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a celestial globe which searches a heavenly body, which a user wants to know, or informs the user of the name of a heavenly body existing in the sky by easy operation. SOLUTION: When the user wants to know the name of a heavenly body, the user rotates a right ascension-side rotating arm 14 in the right ascension direction and rotates a declination-side rotating arm 15 in the declination direction to put the heavenly body in a finder 28. At that time, a heavenly body pointed to on a celestial sphere 13 by a heavenly body pointer 15a is the objective heavenly body. When a heavenly body to be observed is searched from the actual sky, the right ascension-side rotating arm 14 is rotated in the right ascension direction and the declination-side rotating arm 15 is rotated in the declination direction to point to the objective heavenly body displayed on the celestial sphere 13 by the heavenly body pointer 15a. In this state, the observer looks into the filter 28 to see the objective heavenly body in the front of the observer's eyes.
