Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method having high practicality for reducing the bitterness of a bitter medical agent by using an additive free from retardation of a releasing speed, exhibiting no loss of bioavailability when compared with a common preparation and commonly used in the pharmaceutical field, and an oral medicinal composition having reduced bitterness. SOLUTION: The oral medicinal composition having reduced bitterness comprises a bitter medical agent and a water-insoluble substance having an average particle diameter of <=30 μm, and it has such a shape that the release of the bitter medical agent is preceded by the dispersion of the water-insoluble substance on the surface of the tong as particles.
