Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box which can protect a packed object without causing damage even when external force such as a micro-vibration is applied during transportation or the like. SOLUTION: The packing box 1 receives an object 5 to be packed and a cushioning mechanism 3 inside a box body 2. The cushioning mechanism 3 includes a spring member 13 whose lower end is fixed to a predetermined member 12 on a side of a base plate 2a in the box body 2, a mount plate 14 which is designed to allow the object 5 to be mounted and fixed to an upper end of the spring member 13 separately from a side plate 2b of the box body 2, and a fixing means 16 for fixing the object 5 to the mount plate 14. Thus external force such as a micro-vibration applied to the box body 2 during transportation for example is absorbed by the spring member 13, and as a result the object 5 can be protected without causing damage.
