Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proteins having a specific configuration and originated in human SP-18 and SP-5, wherein some of these proteins of analogues having the coded configuration have much decreased cohesive property in comparison with natural proteins, i.e., intramolecular and intermolecular interactions and cohesion mainly owing to a covalent disulfide are decreased and the peptide originated in the SP-5 has not only biological activity but also chemical and physical stabilities. SOLUTION: This protein is a purified polypeptide having ASP activity and the arrangement shown below, or its pharmaceutically permissible salt or amide: X-AA28 -AA29 -AA30 -AA31 -AA32 -AA33 -AA34 -AA35 -Leu-Leu-Ile-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z-Z- Leu-Ile-Z-Z-Z-Ile-Z-Gly-Ala-Leu-Leu-Met-Y.
