Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical active electrode for a dye sensitized solar cell capable of manufacturing a multilayer metal oxide film in which concentration of a light scattering promoting material is easily changed, with out a problem that a metal oxide film, or the like is contaminated by a residual or a gas generated at combustion of organics when manufacturing a metal oxide film of an optical active electrode. SOLUTION: A metal oxide diffusion liquid whose indispensable components are metal oxide fine particles and solvent is atomized/applied on a sheet-like electrode, which is dried to form a porous film of metal oxide. A process in which the metal oxide dispersion liquid is applied on the sheet-like electrode, and a drying process following it are alternately repeated at least two times, so that the composition of metal oxide dispersion liquid is applied on the sheet- like electrode continuously or changing intermittently. It is preferred that the metal oxide dispersion liquid is applied on the sheet-like electrode while a coated film is dried at the same time. |
