Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a system for enabling contents prepared by a sender to be faithfully transmitted to a recipient in mail communication between portable telephone sets with different standards or between a portable telephone and a normal computer. SOLUTION: This system comprises a plurality of providers accessed directly by the portable telephone sets which are connected through a communication network and respectively have different e-mail standards, at least one provider among the providers holds a mail box and also has a data table for collating the different e-mail standards with each other, e-mail from a portable telephone set that directly accesses the provider is converted into of a standard in the portable telephone set or computer system of a transmission destination by collating the data table, and the e-mail is transmitted to the destination. The communication network is an Internet link. The e-mail includes an attached file.
