SOLUTION: In a domestic information network, the home electric appliances 2 are connected to a home server 1 by an ECHONET, and the information equipment 3 is connected to the home server 1 by the Bluetooth. The information equipment 3 includes a PC, a PHS, a vital sensor or the like used by each domestic constituent member (a user). The information equipment 3 also includes a digital television, a digital camera, a digital VHS, a printer, a scanner or the like. Because the home server 1 has interfaces of the ECHONET and the Bluetooth, the home electric appliances 2 or the information equipment 3 can be easily connected to the home server 1 to construct the domestic information network.
