Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor roller which exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, gripping property and wear resistance, and a producing method thereof. SOLUTION: This conductor roller which is used in an electrolytic treatment process in the continuous plating steel plate producing process is provided with a multilayer chromium plating film which comprises a chromium plating film 1a which is applied to the blast treatment surface of roller main body surface and a chromium plating film 1b which is applied to the blast treatment surface which is formed on the chromium plating film 1a, on the surface thereof. Further, in this producing method of the conductor roller, the first blast treatment is applied to the surface of the roller main body 1, the roughening of the surface is performed, the first chromium plating film 1a is formed on the surface, subsequently, the second blast treatment is applied to the surface of the first chromium plating film 1a and the second chromium plating film 1b is formed thereupon.
