SOLUTION: This content data distributing information processing unit has a processor 101, and a storage device 107. The storage device includes a storage area 107a for storing the content data for user. The processor forms the content data equivalent to one unit by taking out a part of data from a database 110 according to a request of the user, stores the content data equivalent to one unit in the storage area of the user, and distributes the content data equivalent to one unit to a device 190 of the user. The processor charges the user a charge 308 for the generated content data (308), and determines a selling price of a book to the user on the basis of an amount by subtracting the charge from a price of the book corresponding to the content data supplied to the user (315).
