Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface finishing method and device for fresh concrete simplified in structure to reduce the cost and enhance workability to minimize the degree of fatigue. SOLUTION: In this method and device, the vibrating body 2 of a vibrator B is formed to have a substantially wedge-like sectional shape, and a receiving part 1 for inserting and engagingly locking the vibrating body 2 is provided on a concrete form A. The vibrating body 2 is inserted to the receiving part 1 and excited in the state where one side surface of the vibrating body is allowed to abut on the concrete form and engagingly locked thereto. Accordingly, the exciting work can be performed only by allowing the one side surface of the vibrating body to abut on the form and retaining the vibrator with a small force.
