METHOD FOR PRODUCING LiBF4

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy method for producing high purity LiBF4 efficiently with a high yield. SOLUTION: LiBO2 is reacted with an HF aqueous solution of 10-48% under an atmospheric temperature. The product is concentrated and then high purity LiBF4 is obtained by recrystallization.
