Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive composition for a color liquid crystal display capable of keeping effective intensity of radiation on a sufficient level in the whole region of a coating film from the top to the bottom and capable of forming a pattern having high hardness in the whole region and an excellent shape. SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition contains (A) a colorant, (B) an alkali-soluble resin, (C) a polyfunctional monomer and (D) a photopolymerization initiator, and the erosion rate of the section shape of a pattern formed from the radiation sensitive composition is <= 30% or the radiation sensitive composition contains the components (A)-(D) and (E) a chain transfer agent.
