Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for producing a pottery-based molded product for a construction material, having high rigidity and strength, dimensional stability and traveling stability, further having proper water-permeability, clogging resistance, recovery by cleaning, alkali resistance, characteristics of small dimensional change in a wet state, and excellent abrasion resistance at the machine side, and suitably usable for conveying of a raw material slurry and a molded product, molding and pressurized dehydration. SOLUTION: This belt for producing the construction material is obtained by weaving warp yarns 11 and weft yarns 12 to form a woven structure in which the warp yarns may be raised over continuous plural weft yarns at a raw material slurry side 13, and the weft yarns may be raised over continuous plural warp yarns at a machine side 14, and a polyester monofilament and a polyamide monofilament are used as the warp yarns and the weft yarns respectively.
