Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generation minus ion and ozone capable of detecting lowering of minus ion concentration by using of an inexpensive gas volume detector without using an expensive minus ion sensor. SOLUTION: The value of electric current, which is supplied into a motor 1 and detector by a current sensor 6, and the ozone concentration value detected by an ozone sensor 8 are input in a control means 7 and the control means 7 outputs an alarm of ozone high concentration, an alarm of ozone low concentration, and an alarm of minus ion low concentration by comparing the current value and the ozone concentration value with the threshold value, which is set in the control means 7 beforehand.
