Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter not suffering the narrowing or plugging of the passage of its fuel feed-in part due to weld burrs produced when the periphery of a cap is heat-welded with the periphery of a case. SOLUTION: This filter is one having a filter body supported by a support member having an upper end plate and a lower end plate, a case in which the filter body is encased, a cap disposed on the case and heat-welded integrally with the case, and a fuel passage formed on the top surface of the upper end plate of the support material, wherein a burr reception means is provided in the proximity of the weld surface of the case with the cap in the fuel passage.
