Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation structure enabling vegetation also on such the surface of the ground or the surface of a floor, on which automobiles and people frequently pass, in a road way or in a streetcar track area. SOLUTION: This vegetation structure is formed by disposing a planted vegetation surface below a road surface or a floor surface and supporting at leas one part of a detachable cover on a support disposed on at least both the sides of the vegetation surface so that the cover forms the approximately same surface as the road surface or the floor surface and so that a load is not added to at least the vegetation surface from the upper side. The cover has openings which cover the upper side of the vegetation surface and enable overgrown plants planted on the vegetation surface and visible from the upper side to upward grow.
