Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for playback relay which use PON protocols. SOLUTION: A playback device 1 is installed between a station device 2 which is a PON(passive optical network) interface and terminal devices 31-33, and the playback relay device 1 is operated as a terminal device. Furthermore, the PON interface part 5 within the station device 2 is equipped with the function of compensating the phase, according to the interval between the station device 2 and the playback device 1.
