Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unitarily administrate equipment administrated by service shops (some shops naturally share service and sales), perform a scheduled administration including the use conditions of main equipment such as a copying machine and peripheral equipment, and provide the information to the service shops. SOLUTION: A center for unitarily administrating the main equipment to be maintained and inspected and the peripheral equipment thereof is installed. When an inquiry is given from a service shop to the center, a list covering users having the models to be maintained and inspected by the service shop, scheduled date of the maintenance and inspections and, if there is peripheral equipment used in those devices other than the main equipment by the user, related to the peripheral equipment is notified to the service shop an outputted from the terminal owned by the service shop.
