Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous girder for a bridge in which strength can be increased by means excepting the enlargement of the size of a flange and a web. SOLUTION: The continuous girder 10 for the bridge has a girder body 11 made of steel built along a bridge axis. Reinforced concrete 40 is placed and filled into recessed sections 11a partitioned by upper and lower flanges 12 and 13, a web 14 and vertical stiffening members 15 in a region R1 to be supported in the periphery of the intermediate supporting point 10a of the girder body 11. The vertical reinforcements 42 (the first reinforcements) of the reinforced concrete 40 are extended vertically along the web 14 while upper and lower ends are welded to the upper and lower flanges respectively. Horizontal reinforcements 43 (the second reinforcements) horizontally extended along the bridge axis are bound with the vertical reinforcements 42 by anealed wires.
