Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a cloth, by which such a vintage appearance that a cloth really stored for a long period has can be imparted to the cloth in a relatively short time, and to provide a two-part system cloth- dyeing composition used for the dyeing method. SOLUTION: This method for dyeing the cloth comprises a process for treating the cloth with an aqueous solution containing tannin and a process for treating the cloth with an aqueous solution containing a polyphenol oxidase. The two-part system composition for dyeing a cloth comprises an aqueous solution containing tannin and an aqueous solution containing the polyphenol oxidase.
