Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster device eliminating the need for adjusting each part of a wheelchair to match variation in the wheel diameter of a caster, while allowing use of appropriate materials for each part of the device, and requiring less storage space. SOLUTION: A fork f1 attached to a caster shaft 4 mounted to a wheelchair body along an approximately vertical direction is divided into a base part 5 supported in such a manner as to be rotatable about the caster shaft, and an arm 6 connecting the base part 5 to the axle 9 of the caster wheel 10.
