Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a large-sized floating body structure wherein the large-sized floating body structure can be constructed by positioning and connecting segments in an installation sea area without influenced by waves. SOLUTION: After mooring and installing a floating breakwater 20 in the installation area of the large-sized floating body structure 10 with a captive wire 30, the segment A is moored to the floating breakwater 20 through a positioning connection wire 61 and the segment 12B is connected to the moored and positioned segment 12A in order. Thus, the large-sized floating body structure 10 can be constructed in a calm area formed by the floating breakwater 20.
