SOLUTION: In addition to a first support device 11 with a movably arranged examining table 19, the examining table device 32 for a medical imaging diagnostic apparatus 1 has a second support device 23 on the opposite side. The lying plate 19 on which a patient 9 to be examined or a subject to be examined is placed is movably placed on the second support device 23 when the lying plate 19 is passed through an opening 7 of the medical diagnostic apparatus 1 for imaging of the subject or patient 9 to be examined.
