Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic data lending system capable of lending electronized data by a communication line. SOLUTION: The electronic data of an information center are coded to be lent to an individual user terminal using the communication line. These electronic data cannot be referred beyond a rental term. The lent electronic data of the information center are locked not to be referred from another user terminal or lent to another user terminal. This condition is canceled when the electronic data are returned.
