Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a selector valve device for selectively feeding exhaust gas to two filter elements disposed in an exhaust emission control device of a diesel engine. SOLUTION: This selector vale device 1 comprises an introduction passage 40 for passing the exhaust gas from the diesel engine, a passage 20 for feeding the exhaust gas to the first filter element, and a valve case 10 having a passage 30 for feeding the exhaust gas to the second filter element. A valve switching unit 100 comprises a casing 110, a shaft 150, an arm 160 fixed to the shaft, 150, and a butterfly valve unit 170 mounted to the arm. The sub-assembled valve switching unit 100 is easily assembled by fixing the casing 110 to the valve case 10 with a bolt 120.
