PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide internet telephone connection method that can continue communication by using the same telephone number, even if a terminal moves its location and eliminates the need for a network service provider(NSP) to reduce the installation cost. SOLUTION: The internet telephone system comprising an access controller managing position information of terminals in a zone and internet telephone sets, includes a 1st step of retrieving the position registration table of the access controller on the basis of a zone number of an opposite side terminal; a 2nd step of obtaining a terminal address of the opposite side terminal on the basis of a position registration table for a present station terminal when it is discriminated, that the opposite side terminal is a terminal within the present station; a 3rd step of retrieving a position registration table for external terminals, when it is discriminated that the opposite terminal is a terminal contained in other station; and a 4th step of obtaining a terminal address of the opposite side terminal from the position information, when the position information of the opposite terminal is registered in the position registration table for an external terminal and the system uses the position registration table of the access controller to convert an opposite side terminal number into a zone number and the terminal address.
