Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy powder hot worked material, in which the re-adsorption of a gas after degassing is eliminated and the working defects such as blister are not generated. SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy powder compacting body is held in a vacuum furnace, where is under a vacuum atmosphere, at a furnace temperature of 100-400 deg.C for 0.5-2 hr and is heated at 520-570 deg.C for 1-6 hr to be sintered and after that, cooled, heated again up to a temperature lower than the sintering temperature and hot-worked. It is effective to carry out the heating before the hot working by induction heating, and to carry out the cooling in an insert atmosphere after holding heating undervacuum. The induction heating is effectively carried out when the electric conductivity of the compacting body after being kept under heating, is controlled to >=8 (IACS)%. |
