Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating device of a solidified glass material container which can eliminate generation of cavities in the solidified glass material container even when falling speed of glass from a glass melting furnace is slow. SOLUTION: A heater 22 for heating and thermally insulating the solidified glass material container 10 to prevent generation of cavities is installed at a bogie 9 on which the solidified glass material container 10 for accommodating glass from the glass melting furnace 1 or the like is mounted. The solidified glass material container 10 is heated by the heater 22 and thereby falling molten glass can be kept at high temperature, can be poured in without generating cavities and can be poured in till prescribed weight to enable weight control.
