Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher for which the taking-out/putting-in operation of the washing tank is easy, and in addition, a state wherein the washing tank is being pushed into the end of the main body case can be surely maintained. SOLUTION: This dishwasher is equipped with the main body case, the washing tank, a fixed rail, a fixed roller, a movable rail, and a movable roller. In this case, the washing tank is provided movably in the longitudinal direction in the main body case so that the washing tank can be freely taken out/put in. Also, the washing tank jets washing water to tableware housed inside and washes them. The fixed rail is provided in a manner to extend in the longitudinal direction on the internal side of the main body case. The fixed roller is provided on the internal side of the main body case. The movable rail is provided on the external surface of the washing tank, and is guided by the fixed roller in a manner to be freely runnable when the washing tank is taken out/put in. The movable roller is provided on the external surface of the washing tank, and is guided by the fixed rail in a manner to be freely runnable when the washing tank is taken out/put in. In such a dishwasher, a holding means, which automatically holds the washing tank under this pushed-in state when the washing tank is pushed into the end of the main body case, is provided.
