Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data through a household electric wiring by using a neutral line-ground circuit of a household electric wiring system. SOLUTION: The transmission method for broadband data employing a neutral line-ground circuit located within an electric wiring installation range includes a step where a load center (14) including an interface module (32) interfacing the neutral line-ground circuit is revised and a step where the interface module is constituted so that a change in the impedance of the neutral line-ground circuit is compensated to enhance the data transmission characteristic. A method to compensate the varied impedance has a plurality of embodiments, which include communications utilizing channel sounding, spectrum water filling and spread spectrum technologies such as a frequency hopping and a direct sequence method.
