Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for welding capable of creating an imaged screen to observe the welded state over a wide brightness range. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a photoelectric conversion part (1) to output an electric signal as an analog sensor signal with a level responding to an illumination intensity by receiving incident light from a welding site, an A/D conversion part (2) to convert the sensor signal into a digital sensor signal and a level conversion part (4) to convert a level of the digital sensor signal outputted from the conversion part (2) or a level of the digital sensor signal corrected the outputted digital sensor signal to have a mutual linear relation across a predetermined illumination intensity and a level range of the sensor signal to vary with logarithm against variations of the illumination intensity only within a predetermined illumination intensity of the incident light. |
