Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is useful in washing processes, sometimes for the removal of solder flux and the degreasing-washing of metallic parts, ceramic parts and the like, can control the effect of corrosion and the like to washings, and is satisfactory in high-grade detergency, environmental characteristics, odor, flammability and the like. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises an imidazolidinone (A) of formula 1 and a nonionic surface active agent (B) such as a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether as effective components. The components A and B are respectively blended generally in an amount of 0.1-97 wt.%. The composition preferably further comprises a surface active agent (C) such as a polyoxyalkylene phosphoric ester and a surface active agent (D) of a polyoxyalkylene amine series. (R1 and R2 are each hydrogen or a 1-5C straight-chain or branched alkyl group). |
