Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an organic EL element having long life. SOLUTION: The organic EL element is constituted of a 1st electrode 12, an organic layer 20, and a 2nd electrode 18 laminated in the order on a substrate 10 constitutes. The organic layer 20 has a 1st organic layer (electron hole transport layer) which makes triphenylamine bulk body, which is for example, a 3rd class amine, a main ingredient and the 2nd organic layer (luminescence layer) which makes a quinolinol-aluminum complex the main ingredient. The organic layer 20 is formed in the temperature range more than normal temperature, and below the glass transition temperature of the organic layer (60 deg.C or higher 80 deg.C or lower), and by holding the substrate temperature lower than the above glass transition temperature, for example, at 50 deg.C or lower, the 2nd electrode 18 (contains an electron injection layer 14) is formed on the organic layer 20. Thereby, the organic layer can be formed and low in impurities concentration, and the chemical reaction between the organic layer and the 2nd electrode is controlled, then the long-life element can be attained. |
