Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for manufacturing artificial zeolite by which elution of harmful substances such as CN compounds and hexavalent chromium from the manufactured artificial zeolite can be prevented or decreased. SOLUTION: A mixture slurry of fly ash and a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution with addition of an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide or the like is subjected to hydrothermal treatment and then cleaned with a cleaning liquid mixed with FeCl2 or the like in a cleaning process to impart Fe2+ ion.
