Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencing technology for a material lock that releases workers from unpleasant noise by preventing noise caused by air leakage, and allows night work even in an urbane area adjacent to a private house. SOLUTION: When an earth-and-sand bucket F enters the material lock D, an airtight chamber 9 is formed surrounding a wire K for the earth-and-sand bucket, on an upper hatch D1. Air leaking from a hatch wire through-hole 3 opened in the upper hatch D1 is once put in the airtight chamber 9 and reduced in pressure, and then released into the atmosphere through a muffler 16.
